The Ijaw National Congress (INC) has convened a town hall meeting for its members in Western Zone.
The Zone comprises of Ijaws in Edo, Delta and Ondo States.
As announced by the INC National Publicity Secretary, Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, the convention is aimed at strategizing towards a prosperous nation.

The event themed “The Imperatives and Strategies For More United, Virile and Prosperous Ijaw Nation”, is billed for Saturday May 20, 2023 at the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun, Delta State.
The event will be chaired by former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Broderick Bozimo.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and his Deputy, Kingsley Otuaro will also serve as Special Guest of Honour and Guest of Honour respectively.
Guest speakers for the event include Dr. Stephen Ileoye Aina, Chief Dr. HB Tumbo and Rev. Dr. (COL.RTD) Joel G Jibor.

The INC thus extends invitation to sons and daughters of Ijaw within ans outside the zone to be part of the conversation towards attaining prosperity.
