Retired Nigerian police officer, Mr Ogunbor, has been accused of biting off the ear of an 18-years-old girl, Faith Aigbe, along Eweka street, off Adamawa road in Benin city, Edo state.

The incident occurred on Sunday, November 15, during a quarrel between the Ogunbor’s family and the victim.

According to Faith’s statement, Mr Ogunbor had picked up a shovel to hit her mum before she eventually held back the weapon.

Mr Ogunbor had thereafter grabbed faith and chopped off her right ear with his teeth.

Faith further alleged that after she and her mom went to file a complaint at a police station, Mr Ogunbor had arrived there and threatened the police officers on grounds that he was a retired commissioner of police.
