The Presidential Election Petition Court has rejected the application seeking to broadcast the court proceedings live.

In its ruling on Monday, the court dismissed the application citing security concerns and the need to maintain order and decorum in the courtroom as the reasons for the dismissal of the application.

The application was made by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
