Recall that the Nigerian Labour Congress issued a communiqué confirming the nationwide strike scheduled for Wednesday.

In the communiqué, the NLC highlighted 12 grounds on which the nationwide action is justified. These grounds include exposing widespread corruption and the misuse of funds by the Nigerian government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) under the guise of fuel subsidies.
