Man Arrested With 4 Human Skulls, 3 Jaws, 2 Hands In Ogun

A 55-years-old man, Yesiru Salisu, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for being in possession of four (4) human skulls, three (3) jaws and two (2) dry human hands.

Confirming the arrest, the Ogun State Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that the suspect who resides around Odunsi street, Ijebu Igbo Area, Ogun, was on Monday, November 23, arrested after being spotted with a bag suspected to contain stolen items.

“The suspect was arrested after the incident was reported at Ago Iwoye division that a man was seen with a bag suspected to contain stolen property, and when he was challenged, he dropped the bag and ran into the bush.

“Upon the report, the DPO of Ago Iwoye police station, CSP Paul Omiwole, led his detectives to the scene where they opened the bag and discovered that it contains dry human parts,” Oyeyemi said.

He was however apprehended after the the bush he ran into was combed by the police.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have harvested the human parts from one Christian Cemetery at Oke Eri, Ijebu Ode, with the help of another Lekan Bakare who is currently at large.

The Ogun State Commissioner of police, Edward Ajogun, has directed the transfer of the case to the state CIID for further investigation and prosecution.
