Foremost philanthropist, Goodluck Joel has condoled with Ijaw music icon, Chief Barrister Smooth over the demise of his crew members.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that five members of the Barrister Smooth musical band died on Sunday following a fatal accident along the Abuja-Lokoja road.
Reacting to the tragic incident that has been considered a great loss to the Ijaw nation, Good Joe extended his sympathies to Smooth.

In a condolence statement on Wednesday, the Chief Executive Officer of JOE-GOOD Oil and Gas Services Limited and founder of Good Joe Foundation, said;

“On behalf of my family, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to my dear friend and brother, Chief Barrister Smooth, on the tragic accident that claimed the lives of your crew members.
“Losing five members of your crew, people you call children is a loss irreplaceable.
“These are stars who made you proud and kept our name on the map of entertainment. Take heart my friend as we ponder on burying the dead.
“My humble prayer is for God to give you, their families and the entire Ijaw nation the fortitude to go through this, and May their souls rest in the bossom of the Lord.”

Among those who lost their lives in the tragic incident on Sunday are; Ikesima Brown, Joseph Ekeremieye, Appah Appah, Tuku Tebekaimi and Marian, a dancer.
The quintet were billed to perform alongside the band leader in a reception in Abuja on Tuesday June 13, 2023.
