Former Niger Delta agitator, Governorment Ekpempolo (aka Tompolo) has congratulated Nuhu Ribadu on his appointment as National Security Adviser (NSA) by President Bola Tiinuba.
Ribadu, who was earlier appointed by Tinubu as Special Adviser on Security, SAS was on Monday confirmed by Nigeria’s President as the head of the NSA to replace Babagana Muguno, who was appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) issued a full-page text on Wednesday congratulating Ribadu and thanking Tinuba for appointing Ribadu as the head of the NSA.

MEND’s former leader expressed confidence that Ribadu will bring innovations that will raise the national security apparatus to enviable heights.
The message read:
“On behalf of my family, friends and associates, I, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei of ljaw nation rejoice with my brother and friend, Mr Nuhu Ribadu, AIG Rtd on your appointment as the National Security Adviser (NSA) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“It gladdens my heart that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu considered you for this sensitive and exalted position due to your wealth of experience and exemplary record of performance in the Nigerian security sector.
