Parents of Girl in Trinity Guy’s Prank Skit Appear Before Police

Parents of a minor girl who was featured in Trinity Guy’s “alarming” prank skit have appeared before the police in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The development came after police summoned born Abdullahi Marufu Adisa, Trinity Guy( a popular prankster).

He had claimed he has parental consent for their daughter to appear in “s3xually offensive” content–a decision made by police.

Trinity Guy disclosed this during an interrogation by the police at the Ibadan State Criminal Investigation Department on Friday, June 23, 2023.

The prankster on Friday morning reported to the Oyo Police Command to honour a summon sent to him in connection with an improper viral video of a female minor being s3xualised in an indecent conversation.

Police in Oyo gave an update on the case on Friday afternoon, saying initial investigations revealed that the disturbing video was a violation of Sections 32, 35, and 36 of the Child Rights Act.

The creator of the controversial sketch claimed during interviews that the underage girl’s parents both agreed to create and upload the content to the internet, police added. As a result, the parents were taken for questioning.

The police said in part on their Twitter page:

“Preliminary Investigations revealed that the obscene video which was a clear violation of Sec. 32,35 and 36 of the Child Rights Act of 2023 depicts explicit sexual exploitation of the minor who was compelled to give disturbing descriptive details of a Male genital.

“In addition, the Skit Maker during the course of the interview provided shocking revelations about the involvement of the minor’s parents before, during and after the production.

“He particularly emphasized that the consent of both parents was sought before uploading the skit on the internet. Consequent on the above, Isiaka Ahmed ‘m’ 40yrs’ and his Wife Rofiat ’29yrs’, both biological parents of the minor are presently being quizzed by the Gender/Juvenile Related Offences Desk of the State Criminal Investigation Department alongside Trinity.”
