Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has blamed the unbalanced coverage of recent EndSARS protest, fake news, and social media for the worsening insecurity and the sagging morale among security agencies in the country.

According to the Minister, the mainstream media abandoned reportage of the protests to social media, which in their sensationalism twisted and fabricated reports causing mayhem in the country.

While lamenting on the poor report of the brutality and killing meted to security agents during the EndSARS protest, Lai noted that this has caused the low morale among security agents.
