Victor Osimhen’s agent has vehemently rejected rumors of any contractual issues between his client and Napoli, dismissing them as “false reports.”

Roberto Calenda, representing Osimhen, publicly criticized the reports suggesting that his client was unwilling to sign a new contract with the reigning Scudetto champions. 

Osimhen played a pivotal role in Napoli’s triumphant season, and with two years left on his current contract, the club is keen to secure his future amidst interest from several prominent European clubs.

Calenda took to Twitter to discredit a report from Il Mattino, a Naples-based newspaper, which claimed that the Nigerian international was still considering an exit route. He referred to it as “false reports.”

The agent’s response indicates that Victor Osimhen remains devoted to Napoli and is open to extending his tenure with the club. 

Despite ongoing rumors of interest from clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, Osimhen’s current focus seems to revolve around securing his future with his present team.

The club’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has made it abundantly clear that he has no plans to sell the 24-year-old striker this summer and has set a steep price tag of €150 million (£129m) for any potential suitors.
