26-years-old Gertrude Ngoma has reportedly sued her boyfriend, Hebert Salaliki, 28, for wasting her time and not marrying her after being together for eight (8) years.

Ngoma told a Zambian court that she had gotten tired of waiting to get married to Salaliki, who had promised to marry her.

Ngoma was learnt to still be her under her parent’s roof despite having a child with Salaliki who was staying on his own.

Meanwhile, Salaliki is reported to have handled the dowry payment but still had not wedded his baby mama.

According to Ngoma, she was tired of waiting and opted to sue her lover for not being serious about their future.

She added that she doubted Salaliki’s loyalty after discovering he was testing another woman who she believes has something intimate going on with her boyfriend.

However, Salaliki in his defence explained that he was not financially buoyant yet to afford a wedding while he also blamed Ngoma for not giving him the needed attention.

Presiding over the case, the judge advised both lovers on the need for reconciliation as it was the best way since there was no evidence of marriage yet.
