Portugal winger Rafael Leao is confident about his chances of winning the UEFA Champions League with AC Milan, the Serie A side where he recently signed a long-term contract extension deal this summer.

In an interview with ESPN Deportes, Leao expressed his belief in the club’s potential and highlighted the prospects they offer.

He stated, “I think this is the right club where I can win the Champions League or the Ballon d’Or.”

Having already achieved success together, Leao credited the club for allowing him to grow as a player, making him feel mature.

He also acknowledged the team’s improved options, especially in attack and midfield.

Last season, Leao had an impressive performance, tallying 15 goals and eight assists in 35 Serie A matches.

AC Milan finished fourth in the Serie A last term with 70 points from 38 matches.
