NLC, TUC Leaders Meet with Tinubu

NLC, TUC Leaders Meet with Tinubu | Daily Report Nigeria

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Joe Ajaero, and his counterpart of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Festus Osifo, on Wednesday, met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.

The Unions’ meeting with President Tinubu came amid nationwide protests by the labour unions.

The meeting lasted for approximately 30 minutes, starting at 5:38 pm.

Following the meeting, the labour leaders expressed satisfaction with the President’s commitments to address urgent issues.

They announced that a decision on the ongoing protest will be made after reporting to their executive committees.

According to the unions, a meeting with their respect National Executive Committees (NEC) will be held on Thursday to discuss all relevant matters.
