Nigeria’s D’Tigress accomplished a historic feat, securing their fourth consecutive Afrobasket title with an 84-74 triumph over Senegal.

Under the leadership of Rena Wakama, the Nigerian ladies displayed dominance throughout the match, maintaining a comfortable 15-point lead in the third quarter.

Despite Senegal’s late rally, Nigeria managed to hold on and clinch the victory.

This remarkable win places Nigeria alongside Senegal as the only two African countries to have won the women’s Afrobasket title four times consecutively.
