Emenalo Urges Osimhen: Saudi Move Over Napoli

Mike Emenalo, a former Super Eagles defender, has advised Victor Osimhen to contemplate a transfer to the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League, where Emenalo currently serves as the director of football.

Despite the Blue Waves’ efforts to secure the striker’s signature this summer, their advances have been rejected by Serie A champions Napoli.

Emenalo, who previously held the position of technical director at Chelsea, has encouraged his fellow countryman, Osimhen, to depart from Napoli and embrace the lucrative opportunities in the Saudi League.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Emenalo shared, “Osimhen is Nigerian, like me. 

He is an exceptional football talent. 

Would I welcome him to this league? Certainly, I would. 

It could be an amazing experience.”

Regarding Napoli’s situation, Emenalo expressed confidence that the club will manage the situation, find a suitable replacement, and continue to thrive.
