Dogo Gide, a notorious bandit leader has released a video clip claiming responsibility for shooting down a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft in Niger State.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the aircraft was flying from Kaduna to Niger State on Monday when the incident happened.
The crash caused the death of at least twenty soldiers.

The clip showed Gide and his members displaying the bodies of military officers on the ground, as well as the wreckage of the crashed aircraft.
At the time of reporting, the Nigerian army has not yet responded to Gide’s claim.
