On August 31, a wife in Aba, Abia State reportedly beat up her husband for confronting her on the kind of meals she cook for her pastor.

The unnamed mother of three lives on Ukonu Street, off Aja Gwa Street, south of Abba.

Witnesses revealed that the husband only expressed his dissatisfaction that she was providing her pastor with better quality and quantity of food than she was providing her own family.

In response to her husband’s observations, the woman became enraged, beat, pushed, and pinned her husband to the ground.

Fortunately, he was able to escape his wife’s wrath after neighbors intervened.

The wife also threatened to leave the marriage, alleging that her husband and neighbors unduly monitored her activities and falsely accused her of inappropriate conduct.

However, an elderly woman nearby resident, (name withheld) said rumors were circulating that the pastor has sexual relations with young women even before their spouses.
