Portugal international, Cristiano Ronaldo has missed out on the list of Top 10 Most Famous Athletes of All Time.

The Al Nassr forward was ranked bottom in 15th place in a list released by British sports outlet, GiveMeSport.

However, Ronaldo’s eternal rival, Lionel Messi was ranked 7th, making him the only footballer in the top 10.

Messi and Ronaldo have consistently battled for honours on and off the pitch in the last two decades, competing for, and winning endless accolades.

It appears Messi guiding Argentina to the 2022 FIFA World Cup triumph was used as a basis for the ranking.

Surprisingly, Messi’s Argentine counterpart, Diego Maradona topped the list, while Brazil’s Pele came in third place.
