BREAKING: Presidential Election Petition Tribunal Judgement to be Broadcasted Live | Daily Report Nigeria

The Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPT) will be broadcast live on Wednesday, September 6.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the verdict will be handed down by a panel of five judges headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani.

The Committee hears a petition by the Labor Party (LP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Allied People’s Movement (APM) and their presidential candidates, in the election that declared President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Appeal Court Registrar, Umar Bangari confirmed the switch to TV channels on Monday, saying that the proceedings would be open to live broadcasting via interested TV channels.

The court was also expected to rule on 25 other election petitions, including those related to Gubernatorial Elections, National Assembly, and state assembly elections.

The election results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC were declared controversial in about 25 states out of the 28 states where elections were conducted on February 25,2023.
