Okowa, Diri to Lead Faces at 1001 Edition of Annual Amafini Festival in Ogbe-Ijoh

Governors Senator Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state and Senator Douye Diri of Bayelsa state will lead dignitaries for the 1001 edition of the annual Amafini festival in Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri Kingdom

The is slated for January 8th and 9th at Ogbe-Ijoh, Headquarters Warri South West Local Government Area.

In a public invitation signed by Chief Hitler Koridigha, the Olori of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, the kingdom invites the general to join sons and daughters of Ogbe-Ijoh to partake in the ancient event.

This year’s event is bound to witness rich cultural performances from various cultural groups cutting across the state.

The likes of Chief Tinuwei’s Cultural Troupes, Ogele dance as well as a cultural dancing competition will all spice up the occasion.
