A youth leader in the Niger Delta, Comrade Humphrey Oluku has called on the Federal Government to renew the pipeline surveillance contract of Tantita Security Services Limited.

In a terse statement on Monday, Oluku noted that Tantita has showed visible evidence in service delivery and as such, deserves a renewal.

“I throw my weight behind the swift renewal of Tantita surveillance contact due to the visibly immense benefits to the Nigerian State.

“I call on President Bola Tinubu and the management of the NNPCL not to listen to detractors calling for the cancellation of the contract.

“These persons are the real enemies of the Niger Delta and the Nigerian state at large.”

Oluku further urged the Nigerian Navy “to desist from burning recovered stolen petroleum products due to monumental damage it causes to the environment.

‘Such recovered petroleum products should be sent to the right process and facility with adequate tracking to ensure proper accountability.”
