Late Nigerian rapper, Mohbad’s body has been exhumed for autopsy.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the exhumation of Mohbad’s body for autopsy was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin.
Announcing the development on social media, the Police PRO said, “The exhumation is currently ongoing. We have here a team of health officials from the state ministry of health led by CP Owohunwa. The CP is also expected to visit Mohbad’s father later in the day.”
Mohbad, real name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances.

He is said to have been treated for an infection shortly before his demise.
The incident received widespread uproar around Nigeria and outside the country with many calling for justice to be served.
In investigation in the circumstances of Mohbad’s death was subsequently ordered by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun.
Following the IGP’s directive, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, placed a ten-man team, including a pathologist, to exhume and investigate Mohbad’s death.
