Troops Rescue Abducted Federal University of Gusau Students

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have rescued six female students of Federal University Gusau who were kidnapped by bandits in the early hours of Friday, September 22, 2023.

The rescue operation was launched after the abduction of about 24 female students from the university.

The troops gave a hot chase to the kidnappers and rescued the six students, mostly females, in Zamfara.

The operation was supported by the Nigerian Air Force air component.

Some terrorists were killed by the troops during the rescue operation and their operational motorcycles, one AK47 rifle, and other items belonging to the terrorists were also recovered.

It was said that the rescued students have been reunited with their families.
