I Will Assist Police to Uncover Cause of Mohbad’s Death – Naira Marley

Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, AKA, Naira Marley, has promised to uncover the cause of Mohbad’s death by assisting to police in their ongoing investigation.

Marley informed the public and the Lagos state police of his return in a statement via X on October 3 around 8:21 p.m.

His announcement seemingly addressed questions about his whereabouts after Mohbad’s sudden death on September 12.

While speaking with presidential adviser, Reno Omokri in an interview, the Marlian Boss stated his readiness to return to Nigeria and address concerns if his safety was secured.

Marley confirmed that he was in Lagos and was willing to cooperate with the authorities.

In the post, Naira Marley wrote:

“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria, to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

The Police Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed via X that Marley was in their custody for questioning.

Hundeyin said;

“Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.”
