A tanker conveying Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as fuel has exploded along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the incident occured at the Opic around about 09:45pm on Friday night.

The explosion, which occurred right in front of the Fatgbems Filling Station left travelers stranded as the explosion destroyed the road.
Drivers were advised to cut through Opic and drive through the service lane and find their way back to the express after Fatgbems filling station.
Cause of the explosion and casualty degree could not be ascertained as of press time.
