Appeal Court Sacks Senator Ishaku Abbo | Daily Report Nigeria

The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Ishaku Abbo has been sacked by The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

Daily Report NG reports that Abbo, who ran under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC was elected in February 2023.

According to Channels TV, the court ruled in favour of Amos Yohanna, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The court presided over by Justice C.E. Nwosu-Iheme ruled that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate in the election, Yohanna is the validly elected lawmaker for the senatorial district.
