President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written the Nigerian Senate, seeking the screening and confirmation of Ola Olukoyede as chairman of antigraft body, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Recall that Tinubu had few days ago appointed Olukoyede as substantive chairman of EFCC.

The new appointment followed the resignation of the suspended executive chairman of the anti-graft body, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
