Former lawmaker representing Kaduna central senatorial district, Shehu Sani has advised the judges of the Supreme Court to fast and pray to seek the guidance of God concerning the conflicting nature of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate.
On Monday, chairman of the seven-member panel, Justice John Okoro, hearing the application by presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar filed against the victory of President Tinubu, said the two letters from the CSU was conflicting, adding that criminal matters have to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
“But in this case, there are two conflicting letters from the CSU—one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?” Okoro asked.
