The Happie Boys, a group of Nigerian social media influencers known for their viral dance videos, have been reportedly deported from Cyprus to Nigeria.
Happie Boys were sent to Cyprus on a scholarship by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere in 2022 after they lost their jobs due to their dancing.
They reported fell out with Chinyere and were imprisoned in Cyprus.
The cause of their dispute remained unclear, but rumors circulating on social media suggested that the Happie Boys had started living an “unseemly” lifestyle during their time in Cyprus, causing concerns for their benefactor.

The Apostle had dispatched his legal team to work on securing their release and the Happie Boys have finally been deported to Nigeria.
Their current whereabouts are reported to be in Abuja.
