Daily Report Nigeria reports that the Delta State Federal Elections Petitions Court had sacked Waive over his academic records.
In a judgment delivered on September 11, the tribunal declared Solomon Ahwinahwi of the Peoples Democratic Party as winner of the February 25 election.
In its judgment on Wednesday, Justice Olubunmi Oyewole set aside the judgment of the tribunal and upheld the victory of Waive at the poll.
