Toluige Olokoobi, the mother of Oreofeoluwa Lawal-Babalola, the young boy who became an internet sensation with the “Mummy be calming down” video, has reportedly committed suicide.

Olokoobi took her life in Benin on Tuesday leaving the community in shock.

Her demise follows previous interactions with Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Lawal-Babalola on his ambition to become a police officer.

The reasons behind her decision to end her life raise remained unknown as if press time important questions that need to be addressed.

However, reports suggested she had kept her struggles to herself before the fatal act.

Confirming the devastating news, the Edo state police spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, stated that he husband reported the incident, leading to his detainment for further investigation.

Nwabuzor affirmed that authorities are working diligently to uncover any relevant information that may shed light on her sudden death.
