Just a few hours to the off-cycle governorship election in Kogi State, Hon Muhammad Danasabe, the chairman of Lokoja Local Government Council reportedly died.
Danasabe passed away Friday morning at Shifa Hospital, in Lokoja.
It was said that the late council chief will be laid to rest at Unguwan Kura Muslim cemetery after the Juma’a prayer.
He was survived by his wife, children, and mother.

Checks revealed the sudden demise of the council chief will be a setback for the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) in the Saturday election in Lokoja local government area.
