A mobile policeman in Bauchi State has been allegedly murdered by one Abdullahi Abubakar, a legal practioner.
This was made known by the spokesman for Operation Safe Haven military taskforce, Captain Oya James.
According to James, troops had on Saturday arrested one “Mr Abdullahi Abubakar Lawyer” at Rimin Zayam village in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State for the alleged “killing of own Mobile Police personnel”.

The incident occurred at Kuba village in Bokkos Local Government Area of the state on November 2, 2023
According to James, based on his confessional statement, the suspect admitted to being involved in kidnapping, among other sundry crimes with other gang members.
Troops had on Sunday raided Kambal and Hurti villages in Bokkos LG resulting in the arrest of Yakubu Saidu and Nasiru Mohammed, who were also connected to the crime.

233 rounds of 7.62mm special, one Itel phone, one motorcycle and one Techno phone were recovered during the raid.
