A police officer has been severely beaten by community youths in Imo State over alleged snatch of election materials at a polling unit.
DAILY REPORT NG gathered that the policeman, alongside others, is attached to a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ikeduru Local Government Area.
The security officials were reportedly instructed by the politician to snatch ballots at Amakohia Ikeduru Collation Center, where the ruling party lost.
However, youths in the community caught one while others took to their heels.
