David Felix, a 20-year-old man from Madakiya village in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna has allegedly killed his father for appearing to him in dreams as a bird.

The culprit who was interrogated before being handed over to the police by his kinsmen, said his father always appeared to him in a dream as a bird

A resident in the community who spoke on condition of anonymity stated that, “Felix told us that his late father recurrently manifested in his dreams as a bird with a human face, attempting to harm him.”

DAILY REPORT NG gathered that during interrogation at the state police headquarters, Felix admitted to committing the crime.

He said he took the action after waking up from sleep and hit the deceased with a pestle while he was asleep.

He, however, expressed regret over his actions.

Presenting the suspect before journalists, ASP Mansir Hassan, the police spokesman contended that formal charges would be filed in a competent court once investigation is concluded.
