Five Suspected internet Fraudsters have been arrested by the Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The anti-graft agency said the suspects were arrested in the Makurdi metropolis, Benue State on Thursday following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related offences.
This was disclosed in a post on the agency’s X handle.

The suspects include Dennis Emeka, George Ebuka, Stanley Tochukwu, Desmond Tochukwu and Arinze Odo.
It was disclosed that some items, including phones, ATM cards, power bank and some cash, were recovered from the suspects.

According to the statement, the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
