The 2023 edition of the National Youth Council of Nigeria’s annual Burutu Week will begin today, Thursday November 30.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that the much-anticipated event will hold for three days between Thursday and Saturday at Ogulagha community.
The event begins with a Love Boat Cruise from Warri waterside to Burutu and then to Ogulagha.
The program has the theme ‘The Youths and Environments Today’ with a sub theme ‘Youths And Environmental Challenges’.

The event will feature lectures, pageantry, talent hunt, cultural displays, candle night procession amongst other activities.
According to the NYCN Burutu Chapter Chairman, Comrade Suoware Edinini, the Delta State Commissioner for Youths, Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro will lead a plethora of dignitaries at the event.
The Executive Director (Socials) on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission, Chief Favour Izoukumor will chair the event, while Chief (Mrs) Caroline Ene will play the role of a chairlady.
The event is expected to see a gathering of all youth groups spread across the Burutu Local Government Area.
