American Hip-Hop artists, Busta Rhymes has said that multiple-award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy sounds like a Jamaican.
The legendary rapper, who collaborated with Burna Boy on ‘Roboshotta,’ a track from his latest album, ‘Blockbusta,’ said he noticed that the self-acclaimed ‘African giant’ sounded like a Jamaican on the song.
He stated this while commending the Nigeria singer’s versatility in the latest episode of the Shopping for Sneakers podcast.
According to Busta: “The original beat Pharrell [William] produced for me and Burna Boy’s song ‘Roboshotta’ was a different beat. Burna Boy sounds crazy on the song, right? Burna sounded like he was from Jamaica on the song.”
