Rivers: ‘I Won’t Lose Focus’ – Gov Fubara

Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara has expressed his determination to focus on fulfilling his promises to improve the lives of youths.

The Governor, who spoke during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2023 Batch C Stream II of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), said his administration would provide adequate security and welfare for corps members deployed to the state.

Fubara, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Bureau, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Hamilton Amadi pledged to be steadfast and resolute in giving them the best dividends of democracy.

He said: “I am confident that with God on our side, we will deliver; we will never lose focus in fulfilling our promises to uplift the quality of life for the youths as the bedrock of our society and, by doing so, make Rivers the envy of other states,”
