The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has claimed that the lives of over 200 of its mission supporters was lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, as it called on Nigerians to be careful to avoid contracting the virus.

This was disclosed by the church president, Reverend Dr Stephen Panya Baba, during the funeral service of Mr Yakubu Abiri Kadiya at Kent Academy, Miango, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state.

Baba, who was represented at the occasion by the Acting Assistant Secretary-General of the church, Rev. Samuel Atu, described as unfortunate and sad the rate at which the mission staunch supporters were dying as a result of the virus.
