Eighty-five were reportedly killed in a military bombing accident at Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The North-West zonal spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Halima Suleiman disclosed the figure to newsmen.

He stated that the eighty-five dead victims were thereafter buried on Monday.

The NEMA Spokesman added that a search has been launched to recover any other possible victims.

He said:

“The Northwest Zonal Office has received details from the local authorities that 85 dead bodies have so far been buried while a search is still ongoing.”

Checks revealed that the incident was one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.
