Nigerian striker, Asisat Oshoala has won the 2023 CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the Super Falcons forward won the award for the sixth time in a blistering career.

She added the award to the previous five she won consecutively with the last of those coming in 2022.

The Barcelona star had a spectacular season with the Femeni before leading the Super Falcons to the Womens World Cup in Australia.

Meanwhile, Super Falcons Chiamaka Nnadozie was crowned African Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year following her exploits woth Paris FC and the Nigerian team.
