A secondary school teacher identified as Oluwale has reportedly flogged a student to death in Lagos State.
There was chaos at Araromi Ilogbo Secondary School in Oko Afo, Lagos, as pupils of the school protested the death of the student.
The incident occurred on Thursday when the deceased, identified as David Babadipo, was allegedly flogged by the teacher.
Babadipo, who had been ill for some days, was rushed to a hospital after he was flogged, where he was confirmed dead.

Many pupils of the school could be seen running helter-skelter within the school compound and outside its premises in a video that surfaced on social media.
A voice in the background could be heard narrating that the deceased 16-year-old pupil wanted to go out to purchase something when he was flogged by the teacher.
