Nigeria is undoubtedly the most decorated nation in AFCON history.

When it comes to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), no nation boasts a more illustrious collection of medals than Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

Egypt naturally holds the record for the most titles won (seven), but Nigeria leads the way in terms of total medals won, with a whopping 15 since the tournament began in 1957.

This impressive tally consists of three gold medals, four silver medals and eight bronze medals, cementing our status as the most decorated nation in AFCON history.

Nigeria’s history of success in this prestigious tournament dates back to her first appearance in 1963, when she narrowly missed out on the podium.
