In a recent interview on the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast hosted by Joey Akan, popular singer Joeboy expressed his aspiration to emulate the success of Don Jazzy and Olamide, both renowned artists and music executives.
He admired them not only for carving out successful careers for themselves but also for providing platforms for other artists to thrive in the music industry.

Joeboy revealed his excitement about the future, particularly after departing from Mr Eazi’s Empawa and launching his own record label, Young Legend.
“I am so super excited about what is to come because one thing I always used to say to my friends then is that I want to be a combination of Don Jazzy and Olamide. Because it’s one thing to come into the game and create your own wave, and then help others and facilitate a lot more waves.
“It’s not even about the money, it’s about the fact that I can say I helped people,” the singer said.
