In Wednesday night’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash, Victor Osimhen showcased his prowess by scoring the equalizer for Napoli as they drew 1-1 with Barcelona.

It marked Osimhen’s return to action following his AFCON campaign, and he didn’t disappoint, securing a crucial goal for his team. The Super Eagles striker was named in the starting lineup and made a significant impact at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

The match saw Robert Lewandowski break the deadlock for Barcelona in the second half. However, Osimhen wasn’t to be outdone, as he skillfully maneuvered his way into the box and found the back of the net past Marc-Andre Stegen, leveling the scoreline and ensuring Napoli remained competitive in the tie.

Meanwhile, in another fixture of the night, Arsenal suffered a late setback, conceding a goal in the dying moments to lose 1-0 against FC Porto. Despite their dominance throughout the game, Mikel Arteta’s side couldn’t hold on as Porto capitalized on a defensive lapse.

Galeno capitalized on a late opportunity, curling his shot past David Raya to secure the victory for the Portuguese club, leaving Arsenal disappointed after an otherwise solid performance.
