The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended an offer to Jose Peseiro to continue serving as the head coach of the Super Eagles with the same $50,000 salary.
Peseiro’s initial contract concluded after the conclusion of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cote d’Ivoire, where he guided the team to meet the semi-final target set by the NFF.
Recently, Peseiro disclosed that he has received multiple offers from both national teams and clubs, numbering at least seven, and he intends to make a decision regarding his future in the upcoming days.

The 63-year-old assumed the role of Super Eagles head coach on May 15, 2022.
“He has been offered by the NFF same $50,000 monthly salary because that is what they can afford,” a top source told SCORENigeria
“The ball is now in the court of the coach to accept this or reject it.”
