Lord Lamba Files Lawsuit Against Baby Mama Over Child’s Custody

Skit maker Promise Kelvin Anagbogu, popularly known as Lord Lamba, has filed a lawsuit against his baby mama, Queen Mercy Atang seeking full custody of their 1-year-old daughter.

Lamba’s move has intensified tensions between him and Atang, a former Big Brother Naija housemate.

Atang had recently announced her engagement on her Instagram page. However, shortly after sharing photos of her engagement, he posted pictures of himself with their daughter.

The legal petition, dated February 16, was addressed to the Family Court of Lagos State in Ikeja.

It criticized the Former BBN star for leaving their daughter, Princess Khellah Kelvin Anagbogu, in the care of others while she traveled to the United Kingdom (UK) for her engagement on January 29, 2024.

Despite Lord Lamba’s consistent financial support for Atang and little
Anagbogu’s well-being, he claims he was denied access to the child.

The petition also claimed that she had blocked all of Lamba’s phone numbers, leaving him with no means of communication except through a new number, which was later blocked as well.

He asserted that it is in the best interest of the child to be under his custody.

He said:

“In order for her to have a decent upbringing and for her to be well catered to.“
