Bambam, former Big Brother Naija reality star and actress, sheds light on the prevalent issue of ‘sex for roles’ in the Nigerian movie industry, dismissing it as a scam.

She reveals how filmmakers exploit eager young actresses by promising major roles in exchange for sexual favors, only to backtrack on their commitments.

Bambam shares her own experience of being offered hotel room keys by a producer after a casting, emphasizing the importance of aspiring actresses standing firm against such exploitation.

“The one that I did waka pass that dem give me N5,000 and the guy [filmmaker] was giving me his hotel room key to hold. Ah! I don’t want to mention names.”
