Paul Omotoso, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has died after a brief illness.

Omotoso, a prominent figure in Ekiti politics, breathed his last in the early hours of Wednesday.

His untimely demise occurred despite his active engagement in political activities, including attending several meetings just days before.

According to reports the Late Politician, originally from Imesi-Ekiti, had talked about feelings of unwellness on Tuesday.

In response, he was swiftly taken to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he eventually died.

The news of Omotoso’s passing has sent shockwaves through the community, particularly given his recent involvement in political affairs.

His resilience was evident following a kidnapping incident in July 2023 when he was abducted but later released after five days.
